What is the Marketing Brain?

The Marketing Brain is your marketing wiki inside TalkGenAI: what the writer reads before every article. It holds four things for each of your sites: how you sound (Brand Voice), how your images look (Brand Image), what you sell (Business context) and where you publish (Website). The fuller it is, the more every article sounds like you. An empty brain still writes, but in a neutral built-in voice, so articles read more generic. Open it in the dashboard from Marketing Brain in the sidebar.

What are the four parts?

Each part feeds a different side of the article. A score such as 3/4 shows how many are in place for the site you are looking at. Brand Image is included on the Pro and Scale plans. On other plans the part shows as locked and is not counted in the score, so a full score is always reachable on your plan. Credit costs live on Credits and plans.

Does it fill itself?

Yes, for new accounts. When you enter your website during signup, TalkGenAI reads it and fills the brain for that site: it learns your brand voice, drafts your business context and, on Pro and Scale, learns an image style from the photos on your site. This first site is free. Each part lights up as it finishes, usually within a few minutes. Everything filled this way is marked Auto-learned · review, so you can check it and edit it. A learned image style is used for articles you write in TalkGenAI right away. Articles published through the WordPress plugin use it only after you click Keep it. If your site has no usable photos, the image part stays empty and articles use the default image.

Why is it kept per site?

Each site is a different business to the writer, so each one has its own brain. Pick a site from the pills above the brain to see and fill its parts. This matters most with more than one site: an article for a clinic should never be written in the voice or with the business facts of a software company. TalkGenAI applies these rules:
  • Business context written for one site is never used for another site without you choosing it. If you saved a description for all sites, the brain shows it as a preview with Use it for this site.
  • Brand Voice: a voice learned from this site is used here by default. A voice learned from a different site is not used here. The built-in voice is used instead, and the card says so.
  • Brand Image: you can save several styles. Make default sets the one used for this site’s planned articles, so it needs a content plan for the site. You can still pick any style per article when you write.

How is it used when an article is written?

When you write an article, or a content plan writes one on schedule, the writer receives the brain for that article’s site:
  • The Brand Voice shapes how the article is written.
  • The Business context keeps facts accurate: who you serve, what you offer, and what to leave out.
  • The Brand Image style is applied to the hero image.
Use this brain in an article, under the brain, opens the article form with this site’s voice and image style already selected.

What does it not do?

  • It does not invent facts about your business. Business context comes from you, or from a draft you review before saving.
  • A part counts only when it is in use for that site. A voice you saved but did not apply here is not counted.
  • It never uses one site’s business context for another site without you choosing it.
  • It does not promise rankings or traffic.
