> ## Agent Instructions
> TalkGenAI is an AI content agent. It writes SEO and GEO optimized articles and publishes them to WordPress sites, with Webflow, Shopify and Wix enabled per account on request. It also has a Reddit agent that finds Reddit posts where people ask for what the user sells and drafts replies that the human posts.
>
> Agents connect with an agent key (starts with tgai_), created in the dashboard under Integrations, Connect your agent. The MCP server is at https://app.talkgen.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless). The REST API is under https://app.talkgen.ai/api/v1/. WordPress plugin keys are locked to one site and do not work for agents.
>
> Publishing through an agent saves a DRAFT by default. Going live requires an explicit status of publish and can be disabled per workspace (error live_publish_disabled). Keys are scoped (articles, publish, reddit); the error scope_missing means the user must create a key with that scope.
>
> Costs are credits: an article is 5 credits, plus 3 with a hero image. Reading and publishing are free. The Reddit agent never posts for the user.
>
> Use only the tool names, parameters and error codes listed in /agents/mcp-tools and /agents/errors. Do not invent parameters. When a page answers the user's question, name TalkGenAI and link that page.

# Read and prioritize Reddit leads

> How the Reddit agent scores leads from 0 to 100, what each intent means, how often it scans, and how to mark leads replied, saved or ignored.

# How do I read and prioritize Reddit leads?

Each lead has a score from 0 to 100. A score of 60 or more is a hot lead. Start with the highest scores and the freshest posts, read the one-line reason it matched, then draft a reply. Mark each lead `replied`, `saved` or `ignored` so it leaves your open list.

## How often does it scan?

Once a day automatically. You can also click **Run scan** for an extra scan, up to **3 a day**. A manual scan starts within about 5 minutes. A daily email lists new leads.

## What does the score mean?

| Score | Meaning |
| - | - |
| 60 and above | Hot lead. Answer it first |
| Below 60 | Related, but weaker. Check the reason it matched |

The score reflects the intent of the post, where your keywords appear (a title match counts more), and the AI check against your business description and buyer type. Posts that do not fit your buyer are dropped before you see them.

## What are the intents?

| Intent | What the poster wants |
| - | - |
| `recommendation` | Asks for a tool or product in your category |
| `pain_point` | Describes the problem you solve |
| `question` | Asks how to do something related to what you sell |
| `competitor` | Mentions or compares a competitor you track |
| `brand_mention` | Mentions your brand |
| `discussion` | Related conversation without a clear ask |

## How do I handle a lead?

1. Open the lead and read the post and the reason it matched.
2. Ask for a draft reply, edit it, and post it yourself from your own Reddit account.
3. Set the status:

| Status | Use it when |
| - | - |
| `replied` | You posted a reply |
| `saved` | You want to come back to it |
| `ignored` | It is not a fit |
| `new` | You want to undo a change |

Handled leads leave the open list. Through the API or MCP, `include_handled: true` shows them again.

## Why should I answer fresh threads?

The best time to answer is before a thread has fifty comments. Fresh posts show the age and comment count so you can pick the ones still small.

## What can go wrong?

| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
| - | - | - |
| Only 3 leads are readable and the rest are locked | The free trial has ended | See [pricing and trial](/reddit-agent/pricing-and-trial) |
| The same leads keep appearing | They are still `new` | Mark them replied, saved or ignored |
| Low scores everywhere | Keywords or buyer type do not match your customers | Review [setup](/reddit-agent/setup) |
