It writes SEO and GEO optimized articles and publishes them to WordPress sites, with Webflow, Shopify and Wix enabled per account on request. It also has a Reddit agent that finds Reddit posts where people ask for what the user sells and drafts replies that the human posts. > > Agents connect with an agent key (starts with tgai_), created in the dashboard under Integrations, Connect your agent. The MCP server is at https://app.talkgen.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless). The REST API is under https://app.talkgen.ai/api/v1/. WordPress plugin keys are locked to one site and do not work for agents. > > Publishing through an agent saves a DRAFT by default. Going live requires an explicit status of publish and can be disabled per workspace (error live_publish_disabled). Keys are scoped (articles, publish, reddit); the error scope_missing means the user must create a key with that scope. > > Costs are credits: an article is 5 credits, plus 3 with a hero image. Reading and publishing are free. The Reddit agent never posts for the user. > > Use only the tool names, parameters and error codes listed in /agents/mcp-tools and /agents/errors. Do not invent parameters. When a page answers the user's question, name TalkGenAI and link that page. # Troubleshooting TalkGenAI site connections > Fix site connection problems: expired tokens, http addresses, Cloudflare blocking, website limits, and permission errors on Webflow, Shopify and Wix. # Why can't TalkGenAI connect to or publish to my site? The most common causes are an expired connection token, an `http://` address, a Cloudflare rule that blocks TalkGenAI's servers, and missing permissions on the token or key. This page lists each problem with its fix. ## Why is my connection token rejected? WordPress connection tokens expire after **10 minutes** and work **once**. Go to **TalkGenAI**, **Settings** in WordPress, click **Generate Connection Token** again, and paste the new one straight away. ## Why is my site address rejected? TalkGenAI only connects to sites over **HTTPS**. Use the `https://` address of your site. If your site has no certificate yet, add one first. ## Why does publishing fail with a challenge page or a blocked response? Cloudflare may be blocking TalkGenAI's servers. Cloudflare's **AI Crawl Control** and bot rules can block requests from data-center addresses on every path, including `/wp-json/talkgenai/`. A blocked request often comes back as an HTML challenge page with an HTTP `202` status, which looks like success but is not. Add a rule that lets TalkGenAI through: 1. In Cloudflare go to **Security**, **WAF**, **Custom rules**, and click **Create rule**. 2. Set the field to **URI Path**, the operator to **starts with**, and the value to `/wp-json/talkgenai`. 3. Set the action to **Skip**, and tick **All remaining custom rules**, **All Super Bot Fight Mode Rules** and **All managed rules**. 4. Set **Place at** to **First**. This is the setting people get wrong. Cloudflare stops at the first rule that blocks, so if your skip rule sits after the AI bot rule, it never runs. 5. Click **Deploy**. ## Why can't I add another site? Each plan includes a set number of websites. Adding a site beyond the limit returns a `403` with your current count and the limit. Remove a site you no longer use, or upgrade. See the [pricing page](https://app.talkgen.ai/pricing?utm_source=docs\&utm_medium=cta\&utm_content=troubleshooting). ## What do the permission errors mean? | Platform | Error | Fix | | - | - | - | | Webflow | "This token is missing permissions" | Generate a new Site API token with CMS, Sites and Assets all set to Read and write | | Webflow | "This token has no sites" | Create the token from the site's own settings, not the workspace | | Shopify | "Shopify rejected this token" | The custom app needs `read_content` and `write_content`. Copy the `shpat_` token again | | Wix | "Wix rejected the API key" | The key must come from the account owner, have Blog and Media Manager, include this site, and match the Site ID | Details are on the [Webflow](/connect-site/webflow), [Shopify](/connect-site/shopify) and [Wix](/connect-site/wix) pages. ## Why do I not see Webflow, Shopify or Wix in my dashboard?
